When the lighting is insufficient, it is necessary to enlarge it using a magnifying glass.

The magnifying glass is one of the first optical visual aids, when the remaining vision is still sufficient.

It can be rectangular or round, with integrated lighting or without, and with different magnifications.

Magnifying glasses allow :

- to enlarge text or an image from 2x to 6x for optimal use (after opening, it becomes very small and usage becomes more difficult, so we then move on to electronic magnifiers).

- to carry out daily tasks indoors or outdoors: They are used in various types of domestic and leisure activities (reading a price, writing a cheque…).
