Is your vision lacking contrast ?

Do you have tired eyes ? Are you dazzled ?

We have the solution: our therapeutic filters !

How to choose your Multilens filter

Filter glasses are as beneficial to visually impaired people as they are to those with normal vision.
They offer your eyes the best protection against harmful light and improve visual comfort..
Another advantage is the improvement of contrast.
Absorption of blue light
When light passes through the eye, the blue part of the spectrum disperses, causing a distortion of the image on the retina. The purpose of a filter lens is to block this light. Many people who have tried filter lenses experience increased comfort, clarity, and contrast. This is particularly true for the visually impaired, for whom it is very important that the image on the retina is as clear and sharp as possible.
Blue light protection
Most clinical studies show that if UV and blue light reach the retina through the eye, they can damage the retina. The degree of damage depends on the energy of the light, which in turn depends on the wavelength. The shorter the wavelength, the higher the energy and the more damaging the light. Recent studies suggest that blue light up to about 450 nanometres is also harmful.
To add sun protection to the filter lenses (C1, 450, 500...), a polarised lens will need to be added (1 or 2 depending on the needs).
We work with the firms Multilens, Eschenbach, and Enchroma, specialists in therapeutic filters.
